MOBILE ENVIRONMENT

Shown at GDC 2016, this mobile demo showcased Amazon Lumberyard’s deferred rendering capabilities on contemporary mobile devices. I created and assembled nearly all scene assets, including models, textures, materials, terrain, lighting, and effects, with real-time mobile performance as a core constraint. The scene was optimized through aggressive texture and material atlasing to minimize draw calls, while carefully placed non-overlapping point lights were used to simulate bounce lighting without impacting performance.
A small number of grass, flower, and lens flare assets were sourced externally.
